BIBLE LOUIS SEGOND 1910

This Bible allows readers to access the Louis Segond 1910 (KJV) Bible, the most widely used Bible by French-speaking Christians and Protestants. This is the equivalent of the King James Version in English.
The Segond Bible is a biblical translation into French commissioned from the Swiss pastor and theologian Louis Segond in 1865.

The translation of the New Testament ended in 1871 and the complete Bible in 1880. It became the most popular Bible among French Protestants.

This first version was revised and improved several times, in 1888, 1910, 1978, 1979, 2002, and 2007.

The 1910 revision had very wide circulation and would become the most widely read Protestant translation of the twentieth century.
