➡️ In this app, you’ll find the text of the World English Bible (WEB), which is an update of the American Standard Version (ASV) of 1901 that is in the Public Domain. The editions on the text were made to shape the Greek Majority Text New Testament.

The WEB version –unlike the ASV –took all the archaic words in the text and replaced them with their modern equivalent. This edition also includes quotation marks and several updates on grammar, usage of the language and a revision of the translation against the original languages.

Many volunteers worked hard to clarify as much as possible the parts of the text where the meaning was unclear or where it had big textual variants. Their work basically consisted on proofreading the text, send typo reports and give suggestions to improve the work.
