Беларусь Помнит

The public association "Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization" together with the Institution of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus "Publishing House "Belarus Today"" are implementing the National Search Project "Belarus Remembers. We Remember Everyone", which is dedicated to relatives, friends and fellow villagers who took part in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 years, events and facts about the war.

Objective of the project:

restoration and preservation of the historical memory of the heroic deeds, history and fate of every Belarusian who contributed to the liberation of the country and the Great Victory.

Project objectives:

- create an information base of stories and memories about participants and events of the Great Patriotic War;
- develop and improve search and research activities in the pioneer squads of the NGO "BRPO", organize archival research and search work to establish and clarify information about Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War, search for relatives of the dead;
- disseminate the best practices of patriotic education aimed at countering and falsifying history and recognizing the leading role of the Soviet people in the Great Victory based on the collected materials;
- to promote the strengthening and development of national consciousness, as well as instilling in children and adolescents pride in the historical achievements of Belarus and its people.

At the first stage, pioneer detachments will organize archival research work to establish and clarify information and photographs about veterans of the Great Patriotic War, search for their relatives, and enter this data into the database of the information portal.

In the future, the project will become open for anyone to add information about relatives.

The application is free and allows you to enter text and graphic information about veterans you know.
To add audio/photo/video materials, the program will request appropriate permission from you.

To use the application, you must contact your troop leader at your school.
