The application allows the pilot in command to report his aerial activity in order to link this operation to the Aerospace Command Surveillance and Control System (CAe).
Applies for uncontrolled VFR air activity of general aviation in Class “G” airspace within the territory of the ARGENTINE REPUBLIC in the Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) that does not require the presentation of a Flight Plan (FPL ).
The “Flight Intention Information” form does not imply the provision of the ATS service. Its presentation is for the purposes of the Surveillance carried out by the Aerospace Command in the ADIZ zone.
Aircraft that do not meet the requirements established for this area, will be considered as Irregular Air Traffic (TAI) and will be subject to the application of interception measures - with aerial means of the Aerospace Defense System - for the purpose of completing the identification process ; following the procedure provided in ENR 1.12 of the Publication of Aeronautical Information (AIP) of the Argentine Republic.
The Form may be submitted up to 120 hours before the scheduled time for the operation and up to a minimum of 30 minutes before the scheduled time for departure.
The application uses the credentials of the Digital Aeronautical Locker (CAD) and has three options: 1) Entry of the form, to inform the activity to be carried out, 2) Consultation of the flight intentions entered by the pilot and 3) Elimination of the intentions of Flight informed.
