About this app

The cambacica (Coereba flaveola) is the only species of the Thraupidae family in the traditional classification system. In classification systems prior to the Sibley-Ahlquist taxonomy, the cambacica was classified in its own family, Coerebidae. It is also known as tietê, mariquita, chupa-mel, chiquita (Rio de Janeiro), sebinho (Minas Gerais), caga-sebo, Cabeça-de-vaca (inland São Paulo), sibite (Rio Grande do Norte) and chupa -caju (Ceará), sebito and coconut guriatã (Pernambuco), sebinho, papa-banana (Rio Grande do Sul), sai and tem-tem-coroado (Pará), mango sibito (Maranhão), chupa -lime and sudden wave (Paraíba).
