Nourou Daarayni Liberté 5 was initiated by Serigne Gora DIOUF, Serigne Alioune Badara DIOUF and a group of friends. The organization underwent a creation process from 1995 with the objective of teaching the Koran to children before being expanded thanks to the establishment of a Makarimal Axlax cell of Serigne Abdou Karim Mbacké with the friendly proposal of a friend to the expansion into a Daara made it possible to move in the direction of the realization of this project inspired by the teachings of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba.
Indeed, the activities which mainly focused on the teaching of the Koran and the Khassaides have always been carried out despite the absence of a head office until then, showing the sense of proactivity of the initiators. This could be understood for a start with a fairly limited number of listeners and residents and a restricted schedule.
It was following the enthusiasm and the increase in the number who attended the courses and activities that the need to acquire a seat was felt as a necessity for improving working conditions.
