OK + helps me keep track of stuff, but a couple of problems for me... 1)can't open camera from within app so I can only use gallery 2)maybe I just like micro-managing, but would like custom categories, 'cuz very long lists... gets difficult to keep track of everything Which brings us onto 3)idk why we can only sort from A~Z, no-expiry~almost-expiring~still-good,, why can't we reverse it? 4)Also what if I have lots of dry will-not-expire items? all stuck at the top + can't see expiring stuff..

I've been using this app for a week now. It has helped me in reducing my food waste and also helps in keeping track of whatever groceries or food items are left at fridge/freezer or pantry. The best thing is that it provides us with receipes for the items in stock. Areas of improvement includes a seperate option to see what items are about to expire. As of now it only shows that something is about to expire, and one has to sort it in the order of early to expire to see what the item is.

Best one I've seen so far in terms of user interface. Things I recommend: Allow users to contribute to barcode database (just needs to be reviewed). Allow users to scan and labsl their own barcodes. Having it scan and rejecting since nothing is found is limiting. Having the ability to have users to access the same account and update together turns this into a really useful tool for a household. Filter to see items in certain place and by status. Id pay for that easily.

Now, this version comes with a more stable barcode scanning option. If a barcode for a product doesn't exist in our record, then we track it for you the next time you buy and save the product in the inventory. In this way, you only worry about managing your inventory while our algorithm takes care of the rest for your convenience! <3
