I have been using Task Nearby for several months now, and it seems to work very well. I use it when I am traveling to remind me when I am NEAR a place, but may or may not go there (for example, rest stops, restaurants, or gas stations). Many GPS's don't seem to have this. The best feature is absolutely the text-to-speech ability, because you can rarely look at the screen when you are driving. I also like the easy-to-adjust radii. One question - would it be possible to offer the option to disable the dialogue box that is tripped when you approach the geofence? The voice is really all I need. Thanks!

Does not work on Android 10, but seemed to work well before the update. Developer promised to investigate and update me in a few days, but hasn't replied since 2.5 weeks despite my emails asking for an update :-( Update: got an answer from developer (see below). I have tried using the app and found that it works, albeit inconsistently and sometimes still misses reminders. Will try reaching out to developer to see if they can helpe fix the issue.

Hey Sergiy, we've fixed this issue in the latest release. Now, you'll be able to use Task Nearby on your Android 10 device. We hope you would try this out. Please feel free to write to us at our developer email address if you face any issues. Please rate the app if you like it. Thanks.

Great app tells you when you're any distance from anywhere on the map. More adjustable and precise than some of the fancier apps. The only thing to make it better would be 1) if you could pick which sounds to use for the notification and if it should be repeating, and also 2) if it showed a GUI circle on an optional map screen around the destination at the "distance from" radius (eg: 75m radius circle around 'Home') Great program anyways!
