About this app

Stream over 1,000 hours of movies, TV shows and more on your next domestic flight directly to your personal device. Download the Qantas Entertainment app before you fly to start watching from the moment you board, until landing at your destination.

The Qantas Entertainment app allows you to connect to the onboard wireless network (this is not the Internet), on selected Qantas domestic flights without individual seatback screens, so you can watch or listen to:

* Movies
* TV Shows & Boxsets
* Audiobooks & Podcasts
* Games

Using the app

Once onboard, connect your device to the onboard wireless network in 3 simple steps:
1. Turn on Flight Mode.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and connect to the Q-Streaming or Qantas Free Wi-Fi network.
3. Launch the Qantas Entertainment App.

The Qantas Entertainment app is best enjoyed on a tablet device. Please remember to charge your personal device and to bring your headphones.

Visit www.qantas.com/entertainment for more information.

I'm using a Google Pixel 3A phone. When I select a movie, all the ads play flawlessly, but then the movie won't play, it just says try again. This is the worst possible scenario! I don't want the ads, I want the movie! I get "[DRM_FAILED_TO_PROVISION] Unable to play protected content at this time. please connect to the internet internet and try again." I am connected... I see the ads. Any chance of fixing this before we land?

You need to put your in-plane wifi on a separate uninteruptable power supply to the rest of the plane. Every time the plane winds up and the power supply blips and the wifi cuts out. Then the app stops and there is a bug which prevents it from starting again even when the wifi is reconnected. Every single time I fly the same thing happens and I have to scramble to uninstall and reinstall the app to resolve before takeoff. Clearing the cache does not work only the uninstall/reinstall method...

Webpage won't load to let me accept terms and conditions after connecting and just kept telling me that the website was down or something like that. Tried multiple times and resets. Funny how it would let me stream advertisements then wouldn't let me see any movies, so I had to use your headphones with the worst connectors on the planet for an international flight rather than my own screen and headphones that work. My phone exceeds all the minimum requirements. Edit QF103 26 April 24.
