I had high hopes for this app to complete surveys easily and earn a little extra cash, but I'm very frustrated that 99% of the surveys I get offered cannot be completed from my phone via the app or even in browser. They mostly need to be completed from a PC but even then when I've tried this, they also have not been accessible despite trying various ways of connecting online so they don't work for me on PC either even after following the troubleshooting guide.

Hi Amanda,
It might be worth contacting support@octopusgroup.com.au as it sounds like it could be something non-survey related and they might be able to troubleshoot with you. All surveys released are timed and tested first, this is to make sure they work in an internet browser as there is no point releasing a survey that can't be completed.

The app is really just a way to get survey notifications to your phone so you can access the survey via your default phone browser without searching. The user experience for the app could be alot better. It would be a big improvement for the app to have an inbuilt browser so you can complete the surveys within the app and once finsihed get taken back to the app. At the moment you complete a survey and it takes you to the browser login screen and you have to go back to the app to start a survey.

Thanks for the feedback, the app originally used a built-in browser but unfortunately the functionality was not as fully fledged and caused problems in some surveys, hence we had to revert to the user's preferred browser. We do agree with your assessment and will change to the built-in browser once we are confident with the functionality.

You've probably read this on a few reviews, but this is actually the best survey app. I usually earn about $20-$30 in a week, which can be redeemed to your bank account, or instantly via gift card (and the range of gift card options is higher than most other survey apps). Best to have a computer, as most surveys will need to be completed there, and you need to attempt every survey you're offered, that will get you a lot more (and HIGHER paying [$10+] survey. Cannot fault octopus!They're genuine
