In a perfect world, the AFL should have an app that can be downloaded straight from a smart TV (I have a Hisense Google TV). The very fact that I have to download the app to my phone and then stream it to my TV is Super dumb. Why not simply have the app be compatible with the TV in the first place? So I download this app hoping to test it out before committing, nope! I'm precluded from testing it out on any content through watch AFL because they don't offer any free content. Unreal!

Been using this app for 4 years now and it's never been updated. No new features or capabilities.It still hangs when casting to a TV and there is no compatible Android TV version, so I've got to watch matches on a tiny laptop screen or my phone...in 2023! My 55 year old eyes can't handle the tiny screen any more. There's a reason I have a huge TV; but it's a shame I can't watch footy on it. Might be my last year paying for this. Update: 2023 was the last year I subscribed. Bye.

This is by far the most problematic app I've ever used. Normally a reset or even a clear cache will fix a glitch of some sort but not with this garbage app. If you can get it to Chromecast to your TV, the next obstacle is for a game to play for more than 10 seconds. Don't bother subscribing
