The Deferit “Split bills in 4” feature is available in all states except for Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin. Split bills in 4 is subject to eligibility and a down payment may be required. The Credit Builder feature, Bill Savings and our bill management platform are available in all states.

Deferit charges a monthly membership fee of $14.99. No lock-ins. All card payments are subject to a processing fee of $0.99.

I have been using deferit for a year I think and it's been really helpful for me. However I am an android user and have a galaxy s23, yesterday i went on to check bills, signed out and later that evening tried to sign back in to pay one and it said whoops can't verify device. Update: Spoke to someone and explained what's happening. Simple fix and all is good. Other than this one time, in 2 years I've had no other issues. I would recommend!!

In all honesty, this app has had ups and downs. Having several payments decline during auto payment wasn't pleasant and the customer service aspect is not where it needs to be, frequently sending a robo email stating high frequency of calls. However, the concept is absolutely AMAZING! When it hits, it truly hits. I've used it for years and it's truly a refreshing way to pay bills not having to pay a lump sum in any given month. I'm overall thrilled with the app.

This app service really helped me when I was in a financial crunch. So to me it's worth the subscription fee and it also reports to the credit bureaus. My only complaint is that even though I have cards on file for autopsy, sometimes the payments don't go through and they notify me that I need to make the payment. When I go to make the payment it will tell me it's an error with the cards, the same cards I use repeatedly, and that they need updated. So I'll have to try multiple times to pay it.
