FindTaxi - Taiwan Taxi Finder

If you are in Taiwan and ever take taxis, you need this app. It makes it way easier and way safer to get taxis. I had so many shady taxi drivers before, but since this app offers some accountability with the rating system that you can see when you pick your driver I haven't had any problems. I've gotten a lot of wonderful drivers through this app. You can also reserve a taxi in advance very conveniently, and can specify certain requirements for a driver (English speaking, non smoking, etc)

I used to be able to get driver responses, but the last two times, I have had no drivers respond at all when I wanted to schedule a driver for the next day. Out of 35 drivers, not a single one responded after five minutes. That is rather ridiculous.

Great for English users. Easy to find taxis or private hires. Has options like "non-smoking" car, pers friendly etc. The app will send out your requests to the drivers nearby and let you choose the driver. Met a driver in taichung, rounded up the fare conveniently without telling us upfront saying its short distance and he has to open the boot for us. Didn't on his meter. Didn't help with the luggage also. Remember still confirm the fare before boarding.
