Great App! It would be great if it was possible to pause the compass once the view is aligned or if the movement was a little bit filtered because (at least on my phone) the peaks overlay is really trembling. Some problem exporting the photos, it seems that the peaks overlay lose the alignment. Otherwise the app works great!

I love the design of the app. But for me it works best, if I take a picture and then adjust the peaks. That's easy if you have some peaks you already know, or peaks that have a special appearance to use as markers. It sometimes works poorly finding them on its own. I know that's difficult. I would give this app 5 stars if it had the option of taking/importing panoramic pictures

Updated Review: been using this app for years. It's pretty good, I live in the southern Appalachians and oftentimes it will identify minor peaks rather than the name the larger mountain is known by, but it does a really good job at landscape generation and after you set your elevation you're able to see everything you might be interested to know. I was dismayed to see that it did not work on my new pixel 8, however the developer immediately addressed the bug and it's doing great. Thank you!

Your Pixel 8 device was just too good for PeakFinder! It was a classic but simple bug that caused PeakFinder to crash on your device. Because I was on vacation for the last two weeks I was not able to fix the error before today. Thanks for your patience.

What's new

- Fixed an error in the visiblity calculations.
- Various performance improvements and bug fixes.
