- We are seekers of knowledge, students, which means we must follow the path that the owners of knowledge have shown and paved before us. We should not invent new paths, but should follow the path laid by scientists in order to achieve the goal that they have achieved. Anyone who exalts himself above knowledge, scholars and books advised by the imams will not achieve the goal. Allah said:
“Whenever they receive a news of safety or danger, they divulge it. If they turned with him to the Messenger and those with influence among them, then those who can investigate him would recognize him from them. If it were not for the mercy and mercy of Allah towards you, then you, with the exception of a few, would have followed the devil ”(4:83).
And he said, "On the contrary, be spirit guides (rabbaniyyin) as you teach and study the Scriptures" (3:80).
The predecessors said: "Rabbani is the one who educates people by teaching them the basics of knowledge before learning the complex."
That is, it is imperative to show decency and follow the program advised by those in the know. There is no need to invent new ways in the search for knowledge. The same rules apply in worldly sciences, for example, in medicine. Do they study it at random, however they want? Not! It is studied the way the specialists require, and the result is a real doctor.
So, we began our training with this book, because scientists advise us to do so.
Other reasons why we are studying this book:
- it deals with very important questions, what you will be asked about in the grave.
- the author is an imam. Allah granted him and his books a warm welcome on earth, among His servants;
- the author lived relatively recently, therefore he refutes those conjectures and delusions that are spread by modern supporters of polytheism;
- explaining certain issues, the author certainly gives reasons, and this is one of the most important advantages of any book;
- the author's books (and in particular this one) are distinguished by their simplicity, clarity and brevity of presentation. They are easy to learn. These or those knowledge are given in them first in general, and then explained in more detail.
- the author prays for the student and the reader.
3. What is the Three Pillars in a nutshell?
These are questions of the grave. Whoever asks you what the Three Foundations is about, answer: "This is a summary of the answers to the questions that will be asked in the grave."
4. What are the benefits of studying this book?
If someone who objects to us asks: "What benefit can our study of the" Three Foundations "bring and what are its fruits?" - we will answer: “The fruit, benefit and reward are as follows: if we learn the three foundations, then we will act in accordance with them, then we will call others to them, then we will be patient in knowledge, in action and calling, then, with permission Allah, we will be able to answer the questions of the angels in the grave. Allah said:
﴿يثبت الله الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة﴾
“Allah strengthens those who believe with a firm word (that is, tawhid) in earthly life and in eternal life (that is, in the grave)” (15:27).
5. What is the content of the book?
After that, you need to find out what is the content of this book and the order of presentation of the knowledge given in it:
First part: The four questions contained in Surah al-Asr.
Second part: Three questions (it is necessary to understand the difference between the three questions (al-masail as-salasa) and the three bases (al-usul as-salasa).
The third part: Why we study tawhid (the author always pays attention to this issue, because there are many who object to the followers of the Sunnah (Ahlu-s-Sunna wa-l-jama'a) in their desire to study tawhid and teach him to others , those who disagree with them and fight their call to tawheed, to study and disseminate it).
