The Bible in Nenets

The Bible - the Word of God, the Book of books - is read throughout the world, it is a precious heritage of all humanity. The Nenets people now have the opportunity to read the Bible in their native language on their smartphones. The text was translated from Ancient Greek and Hebrew into Nenets in Salekhard by a group of local and Moscow specialists of the Institute of Bible Translation in the field of linguistics and biblical studies.

The app contains both the Nenets translation itself and the Russian Synodal translation, which can be displayed in parallel if desired, as well as a brief glossary of basic terms, titles, and names.

This app also includes the audio recordings of the Gospel of Mark. The audio of the Book of Jonah and the Gospel of John can be downloaded on demand. This will help you listen to God's Word while developing your reading skills.
