I actually purchased this book. This story is hard to follow. It was difficult to know what was happening with how much the narrative jumps around. Not enough character development. The plot is decent but the implementation leaves something to be desired. If you fail a stat check the game just ends and it ends badly. There is a story here but with frustrating stats, confusing language, and a storyline that jumps around its hard to comprehend.

I don't like the third person rubbish just makes me feel detached from everything. Besides that the story isn't compelling nor do I care about any of the things I'm suddenly introduced to. The characters are bland. The main character is genderlocked to a female that is as interesting as paint drying. The story is just nonsensical and the achievements spoil the story before you even start playing. I would suggest to anyone thinking of buying this to save the money and save yourself from disappointment.

I liked the third person narative quite a lot actually. The story was interesting and engaging. Grammar and sentence structure leaves a bit to be desired.
