Really enjoyed this "choose your own adventure" app... Reminded me of the good ol days of those books of giving you choices. I also liked the stats and seeing how my choices effected them. I didn't mind the waiting between segments, as it helped me not to "binge" read it and kept me from getting in trouble at work for taking an extra long break because I couldn't put it down ;) I wish there were a whole library of these types of apps!

This was incredible! I thought I posted after my first "read" but whoops! Downloaded several years ago and several refresh/resets later, it's as entertaining and challenging as the first. Still need to Unlock Accomplishments which means many Chapters remain. The story as a stand-alone is amazing!! W/out going too deeply metaphysical, the options & results offer a deep study into Moral & Ethical scenarios, esp. as you can't help getting lost in the vivid memories & details. Well Done!

Overall builds the world incredibly well but the ending is abrupt. Although the story is epic and branching, there isn't as much choice as there could be. The whole game introduces alot to us that isn't fully explored and really sets a solid foundation for the sequel. The game feels more like an introduction sequence due to the player character's young age and the open end leaves you wondering what happens to the player later on in this universe. Unfortunately there are a few typos but not as bad as the second game, and there is definitely room for more choices.
