I actually purchased this book. The puzzles are not too difficult to figure out and the in-game tips really do help you figure out the puzzles. This story had a really good plot to it with multiple characters that are easy to remember. You start out knowing nothing about yourself or your situation and by the end of the book the story is laid bare. I felt that the ending was abrupt with not as much flourish as I would prefer. Aside from an abrupt ending this is a good read.

I'll be honest the premise ain't really that engaging and the writing is as bland as carboard. If you want a better 40,000 word count gamebook, then I reccomend trying out Hosted Games 'Imprisoned', a vastly superior gamebook in every aspect.

Ok I like the game but the random death in chapter 3 is ticking me off. No matter what I do I fall in a pit and die.
