Grottocenter Mobile

grottocenter.org is a collaborative website based on the principle of the Wiki which allows data to be shared on the underground environment.

grottocenter.org is published by the Wikicaves association, which benefits from the support of numerous partners, in particular the European Federation of Speleology (FSE) and the International Union of Speleology (UIS).

An account is not required to use this application, but you can create one at https://grottocenter.org to benefit from all the features!

This application will allow you to:

- Visualize the caves, cavities, chasms of Grottocenter on your smartphone if you are connected to the Internet.
- display an IGN 25© base map, Open Topo Map, Open Street Map, Satellite
- Download and store on your phone information on the cavities and the Open Topo Map base map corresponding to a geographical sector of your choice in order to be able to consult them in the field in offline mode.
- Modify or create cavity sheets from your smartphone. The application will update this new information on the Grottocenter database on the next connection (here a Grottocenter account is required).
- visualize the caves of Grottocenter in another cartographic application (Maps, Locus Map, E-walk,...)

This application gives you access to the location of more than 74,000 cavities and allows you to work on a speleological inventory anywhere in the world, even without an internet connection.
