FUTO Voice Input is an application that adds voice input capabilities to your phone. It integrates with apps and keyboards that support the standard Android voice input APIs (ACTION_RECOGNIZE_SPEECH and Voice IME). All processing is done completely offline on your device, and your recordings are NEVER saved or sent anywhere. The app accesses the Internet only when you choose to download optional models. FUTO Voice Input respects your privacy.

It works so fast. This is crazy. I'm typing this review with my voice, so we'll see how it goes. It's really fast, accurate, does punctuation well, and yeah, it's cheap. $10 USD for a pretty great keyboard is awesome in my opinion. I was impressed by the pixels speech recognition before but this one is leaps and bounds ahead. My partner approves of the Russian transcribing as well, but I can't comment on that front.

It just works, and just works well. Struggles occasionally with an Australian accent, but then again, most speech to text does. It would be nice if there was an option to write "colour" and other non-American spellings of words. But this is free and respects your privacy, so I'm not here to complain.

Wow, even dictating in Dutch with a few scattered English words, nigh flawless! Fastest time ever between trying it out, and paying the (non-enforced, somewhat hidden even.) payment "requirement"! And all is processed on-device, instead of going through the G-servers with all the privacy issues that that approach entails. Sure, this makes it a bit slower, but surprisingly only a little, and well worth the trade-off!

This version fixes a bug reported by one of our users, where processing would go on forever if the recording length exceeded 27 seconds but was shorter than 30 seconds.
