About this app

This app allows you to scan and view the contents of the Aztec barcode on e-tickets for train travel. Always wondered wat that strange block of pixels on your ticket means? The app has mainly been tested with Dutch e-tickets but all Aztec barcodes that conform to the UIC standards 918.2 and 918.3 should be readable. Companies such as Eurostar, SNCF, NMBS and DB issue these tickets (UIC = union of railway companies).

The name of this app is inspired by the current device that is handed out to drivers and guards/conductors in the Netherlands, the "Railpocket". One of its functions is to check tickets.

Functions:
- Scan Aztec barcodes with the built-in scanner
- If the contents is a valid UIC barcode, we show the contents of the ticket
- Share your ticket with us if you'd like us to try to add support in the next version
- And maybe some other hidden features
