About this app

Our minds are our most valuable and precious resource in which we experience every moment and rely on every day to be focused, spontaneous and creative.
This app will remind you to take a few minutes out every day to take a step back and watch your thoughts come and go. The TED talk by Andy Puddicombe explains why it is important to spend time looking after your mind.

While being mindful, you can leave your phone - if the screen turns off it doesn't matter, an alarm will let you know when the mindful time is up. You can change the amount of time you want to be mindful for - the default is 2 minutes. You can also change when (or if) you want to be reminded about being mindful.

A lovely app. My only complaint is with the settings. They don't appear to work. I've tried increasing my session from 2 minutes and I've tried setting daily reminders for specific hours, but there has been no change.

It would be better if there was a voice that guided you through it or at least said the quote at the beginning, all in all, I like the app. It helps calm me down.
