Ok, but design of hardware and app flawed. Specifically designed to prevent user replaceable battery, powered by two AA, I jury rigged a CR123 as replacement when they went flat but opening case was a challenge. Also app has no widget or integration with smartphone devices, so not great for actually monitoring usage and adjusting behaviour (I e. Choosing when to use solar) or automation as you have to have app open.

It is very useful getting immediate feedback on changes so you can see what's using power. It would be useful if you could set an alert when the power consumption goes over a certain rate. Eg if you're using solar, and it becomes cloudy, and suddenly the aircon is using grid power. Then you'd know to switch it off. Can we request that feature please? A kw/h figure you can set to get a notification if it is hit or exceeded?

Great! I had this installed in my old property but I've since moved and this place is smaller. It's quicker to connect. I'd like for it to memorise the strength, usage and pattern of devices and appliances so that we're able to label things for better control. It wouldn't be able to specifically watch an item whilst inuse, though it'll allow you to see if it's on. I'm not happy that my data's being sold for this but it's a little late. With Optus, Latitude etc
