About this app

Krasnoyarsk is a city in central Siberian Russia, the capital of the homonymous Krai. It stands on the banks of the Yenisei River, in the middle of its course. It is the third largest Siberian city, an important industrial center and a railway communication hub (it is an important station of the Trans-Siberian Railway) and air (it has an international airport). Apparently, the city looks like a banal industrial city populated by over 1 million inhabitants, with gray and Soviet-style buildings. However, the true beauty of Krasnoyarsk is invisible to the eye: what is incredible is the kindness of the people and their ability to treat even the most clumsy tourists in a friendly way.

The cohesion of people despite the city being a real microcosm of religions and cultures is the real beating heart of this corner of Siberia.
