I'm really sorry to make this review considering all the effort that must have gone into 2.0, but the new UI feels really bad to use and I can't see myself using the app now. EDIT: I tried it again, I'm really sorry but I didn't notice any speed improvement. Every button tap takes around a full second before the app reacts to it, it's very tedious. I'm using an older phone (Samsung A8) but it runs many more demanding apps perfectly smoothly.

First 5 minutes impression. Looks polished, nice layout especially toggle between list and grid. I like the categories on the left and the icons to give you an example of each. Search is, well, search. Nuff said. Once I found the filters, things were easier. I especially like the link to the Play store in the details/review. That shows you're not hiding anything, like a doctored ipk. Overall - good job 👍. I will be using this for the foreseeable future.

Everything technical about the app is stellar! It looks fantastic, it's a joy to browse, and I love the tag system. However some of these reviews are very amateurish. A lot of them are way too short, and many have typos. They're so short that basically it amounts to: did I like the game yes or no and how was the monetization, and then an arbitrary score with very little justification. If the reviews had a bit more effort put into them this app would be the only way I'd discover new games!

Sorry you didn't fully enjoy the app. The review length is intentionally short, meant as a quick point of reference, but I'll share the scoring system we use consistently across games on Reddit (too long to post here). If you report a typo to contact@minireview.io we'll fix it in an instant :) With 500+ reviews, I'm sure some have slipped through.

This update fixes the blank screen bug some users have experienced and greatly improves the performance of the MiniReview app.
