About this app
The Maltese national mobile app which will be used for scanning of the National and EU Digital COVID Certificates. The application will be used to scan and verify in real time all EU COVID-19 Vaccine Certificates in Malta.

Doesn't do anything. Scans the barcode and flashes and that's all! In response to the reply below; yes I know what it should do and it is not doing anything. When I scan my own (Freshly issued) certificate the screen flashes momentarily. The same when I used an expired certificate. So if I need to check someone's certificate it is useless as it is.... do you need some additional software / login etc. for it to work?

Hi, the function of the application is to verify the scanned vaccine certificate. It will flash on the screen with the valid or invalid result.

The majority does not scan them. One in around every 10 is good, the rest no sign of anything. Tried with different mobiles and can see the date of vaccine which is valid on the cerfiticate. Kindly fix the issues as it is impossible to get one scanned and it is wasting a lot of precious time.

It scans the barcode, flashes something very quickly and than returns to barcode scanner. It's useless. Edit: to the developer's reply: scanning barcodes from other valid certificates has the same issue. It's with any barcode, not just mine.
