About Find a Corker
Ordering wine in a restaurant shouldn't feel like a test.
Corker reads the wine list in front of you and tells you what actually goes with what you're eating — in plain English, with a reason, and without ever assuming the expensive bottle is the better one.
HOW IT WORKS
Find your restaurant. Search by name, or see what's nearby.
Get the wine list in. If it's online, Corker finds it. If it isn't, photograph it — one picture of the page is enough.
Tap the dish you're having.
Read the pairing. Options from that restaurant's actual list, each with a short explanation of why it works.
It takes seconds, and it happens at the table.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Corker only recommends wines the restaurant actually has. No generic "try a Sancerre" advice you then can't find on the page in front of you.
It's honest about money. When the cheaper bottle is the better match, Corker says so and explains why. It has no reason to talk you into the expensive one.
It explains itself. Every recommendation comes with the thinking behind it — acidity against richness, tannin against fat, why a regional pairing works. Read it or don't; the point is that you can.
EXPLORE THE LIST
Browse the whole list with the useful things flagged: hidden gems, bottles drinking well right now, the best value on the page, and picks matched to your taste. Or hit "Surprise me" and let it choose.
YOUR CELLAR
Keep a private record of what you've drunk. Rate it, note what you thought, remember where you were. Flag the ones you'd buy again. Over time Corker learns what you like and quietly factors it in — without narrowing what it shows you.
WHO IT'S FOR
People who like wine and want reassurance they're getting the right pour at the right price. People who order the second-cheapest bottle by default and suspect they're leaving something on the table. People who'd like a sommelier's opinion without the raised eyebrow.
PRICING
Your first three pairings are free. After that, Corker Plus is £4.99 a month for up to 300 pairings, or buy 20 pairings for £2.99 with no subscription. Finding restaurants, scanning wine lists and browsing wines is always free.
