SimpleDefense is a tower defense RPG where you train a party of heroes, forge their weapons, and defend your wall against everything the map throws at you. Free to play, and you can start right now.

The tension of a tower defense game, the long-term character growth of an RPG — both in one defense game.


■ How you play

Pick a stage and face down the incoming horde. Combat runs in real time, wave by wave. Read the enemy's element and resistances, switch between the weapons you brought, and fire off a skill at the moment it counts.

Keep your wall standing and the stage is yours. Spend the experience and drops on your character and your gear, then push into the next stage. That loop is how your strongest party gets built.


■ Auto battle and idle farming

Turn on AUTO and your character fights on their own. Turn on LOOP and they will re-run the same stage over and over, so you can farm materials in the background or idle through a busy day. Play manually and you can still outperform the AI.


■ The same gear is never the same twice

Armor effects are randomly generated. Two players can pull the exact same piece and end up with different stats. More HP on one, elemental resistance on another, a spike in accuracy on a third. You never know until it drops.

If you like hunting for the perfect roll, there is a lot here for you. Armor fills several slots, and the combination you settle on changes your whole build.


■ Weapon upgrades with no ceiling

Weapons grow three ways: level ups, material-based enhancement, and limit breaks. There is no cap on limit breaks. The longer you play, the stronger your weapon gets — there is no point where it stops.

Blunt, slash, shot, magic. Each weapon type has its own character: rapid fire, penetration, area damage, chain attacks. Whichever one you build around becomes your strategy.


■ Every hero has their own skills

Each character brings a unique ultimate. Area magic that catches the whole field, light magic that heals your party, disruption skills that lock enemies in place. Who you bring, and how you combine them, is the heart of this strategy game.

Characters also have skins. Some change more than the look — a few unlock a different skill set entirely.


■ Reincarnate and go further

Max out your level and you can reincarnate. Your level returns to 1, but the stats you allocated carry over, so every reincarnation leaves you standing on a stronger foundation.

Each one also unlocks new stages and tougher enemies to test it against.


■ Rankings and chat

Put the character you built up against everyone else on the rankings, and trade notes with other players in the in-game chat while you climb.
