Here are some of the functions that Mittsjöliv offers:

1. Call name for private persons: Private persons can create their own and unique call name and appear live on the archipelago map. By simply choosing when, and if, you want to be seen externally, boat owners can find and contact each other. If the owner has a sticker with his call name on the boat, passers-by can easily contact the owner directly in the app via the call name. You can, of course, turn off your visibility and ability to call when it suits you. You order the call sign via our webshop.

2. Call other boat owners: Via the unique call name, you can easily communicate with other boat owners in the archipelago. Do you need e.g. notify a boat owner that the boat is in bad condition and should be moved? Then use the call name for smooth communication.

3. Share pearls in the archipelago: Mittsjöliv allows users to share tips about fantastic places such as natural harbours, attractions or fun activities. Share both videos and photos and share with other archipelago lovers and discover new favorite places yourself.

4. Companies in the app: Companies also have a given place in Mittsjöliv. All companies can post videos/photos and advise on activities, events and events taking place at them in real time.

5. Direct messages from connected businesses: Businesses can send direct messages to guests and customers through the app. Important messages about e.g. operation, wanted person or boat owner in the immediate area can be sent via the app. You as a business owner can offer this service to your guests.

6. Entertainment and community: Both individuals and companies can create entertaining quizzes or tip rounds that provide an extra dimension of fun community in the archipelago. Why not create a story tour about your company or the town you are in?

7. Company Updates: Companies can update their company information directly in the app at any time. Do you have a special event, new menu or an exciting activity? Share it with visitors to the archipelago by simply updating your business profile.

8. Own links for business: Add links to your website, social media or other relevant links. Give users the opportunity to get to know your company even better and find more information about what you offer.

9. Company Welcome Notes: When someone sails into your company's area, you can create a personalized welcome note. Welcome them with a nice greeting and showcase the best of what your company has to offer.

When using the Mittsjöliv app, we ask you to allow location services. Without this, the app cannot function. We use your location to be able to show you on the map to other users, send you notifications when you enter important geographical areas, let you participate in tip walks and more. You also have the option to activate background location, can be used for certain functions of the app, such as the ability to appear on the map even when the application is closed or in the background. This allows users like boat taxis, location services to show their location at all times which is critical to their usage. As a user, you can disable this under your profile whenever you wish, and it is disabled by default.
