The IA'ȘI BILET application is a travel portal offered by the Iași Public Transport Company. In the application you can perform all the actions necessary to facilitate the use of public transport.
The application allows the purchase of travel tickets with the help of the bank card, the calculation of the optimal route for the traveler and the visualization of lines, stations and means of transport in real time on the map.
After creating the account and associating it with a transport card, the user can load that card with travel vouchers directly in the app using online bank card payment. The user can at any time consult the status of the card and the travel titles active at a certain time.
A user can manage multiple transport cards on a single account and perform top-up actions on those cards, be it top-up e-wallet, buying new subscriptions or extending existing ones.
After performing various purchase/validation/control actions, the user will have the opportunity to view a detailed history of the transactions performed.
Users who benefit from subsidies according to the legislation in force will be able to request the approval of a subsidized profile directly from the application, by sending supporting documents. Following approval of such a profile in the application or at the counter, users will be able to purchase/request discounted or free travel tickets directly from the application.
Legal entities that have a collaboration with the transport directorate will be able to manage their card portfolio directly from the web portal or mobile application.
At the time of purchase of a fare title, when it is approaching its expiration date or when other actions are performed on the card, the user can opt to receive notifications on the device or by e-mail.
The application provides the means for the traveler to find the optimal route between departure point A and destination point B, using the locations of vehicles on the route.
The traveler can start their journey from their current location or another location on the map and choose their destination by searching for an address, point of interest, desired station, or even placing a pin on the map. He can also choose a location that he has previously searched for or added to his favorites.
The app shows how far it will take to get to the nearest station, when the vehicle will arrive at the station and how long the trip will take.
This gives the traveler the ability to save frequently used locations to a designated page in the menu or when searching for those locations on the home page. Thus, the user can start a route much faster and easier in the future.
The application will show in real time the vehicle that the traveler needs to take and will notify him when he needs to change the line.
The user can view on the map the complete route of a line or only a direction of the route and can save favorite lines. He'll get a message when there's a problem with one of these, if that problem could affect his trip.
In the page dedicated to the lines, he can search for the desired line and then view on the map, in real time, the vehicles on a direction of travel of that line.
He can select a station from the home page or from a line's route and thus see all the lines that stop at that station and what the arrival times are for each line. Can see the next three times and schedule for all lines in that station.
The director's points of sale can be found on the map. By selecting such a point, you can see its operating schedule.
The application is available in Romanian and English, depending on the language set in the device used.
