About BVG Muva: Mobility for you

BVG Muva is your new connection to Berlin's local transport system, taking you through the city, quick, cheap and comfortably. Along the U8 and parts of the U5 as well as between the S-Bahn stations Attilastraße and Marienfelde, you can call a BVG Muva if a lift is out of order. Furthermore, BVG Muva offers you a barrier-free and comfortable connection to local transport in the east of Berlin. With our service, you get public transport on demand. Local transport that comes nearby and takes you comfortably to your destination.

Lift out of order? Heavy luggage? No stop in sight? Barrier in the way? No problem! We'll pick you up and take you there!

Simply order a BVG Muva in the app and we'll pick you up in a few minutes. Optionally, you can add passengers, your luggage or your wheelchair and we will come by with a suitable vehicle.

BVG Muva takes you safely, cheaply and comfortably to your destination.

Where you can use BVG Muva

The new BVG Muva is available in most parts of the districts of Lichtenberg, Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Treptow-Köpenick and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.

This is how it works:

1. Download the app and register

Download the BVG Muva app, open the app and register with a few clicks or log in with your existing BVG account. That's it! Now you can use our service and get picked up.

2. Book a ride

Open the app and set your starting point and destination. If you activate the GPS function, your current location will automatically be suggested as the starting point. Once you have set the route, you can add luggage and passengers. Do you need a barrier-free pick-up? Select the option in the app and we will pick you up in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

3. Get picked up

Once you've booked your ride, we'll be on our way to you. The app shows you exactly when you can expect us.

4. Optional: enter payment method

If a lift is broken, our service is free of charge. All you need is a valid ticket. For Flexible Ride, additional comfort surcharges will apply. For the payment, you can store a payment method and pay conveniently in the app. You can choose between PayPal, SEPA direct debit, credit card and voucher*. The app always shows you the total price in advance.

Thanks to our sophisticated technology, journeys by several passengers with similar destinations are optimally combined. In this way, we reduce detours and offer a ride-sharing service that gets all passengers to their destination efficiently.

Reasonably priced rides
With BVG Muva, you can always get to your destination conveniently and at a great price. To use it, you need a valid VBB ticket. This can be a single ticket, a season ticket (Abo) or a day ticket.

No comfort surcharge is levied for journeys to the lift replacement. For Flexible Ride, a comfort surcharge is levied per journey or per kilometer traveled.

Of course, everything is transparent with us! You always see the total price in advance and you can pay conveniently in the app.

*Vouchers can be purchased with cash at the BVG customer centers in Marzahn and Köpenick and the credit can be redeemed in the app.
