Reggada is an artistic program showcasing the beauty of Reggada dance, featuring the unique and beautiful creations of various artists, including talented young artists who have made significant contributions to this art form.
Reggada is the name of a dance originating in eastern Morocco, near the city of Berkane. The Reggada dance was used in the Rif War to symbolize victory over rivals, and thus Reggada became a recognized historical art form.
This program features a variety of performances by renowned Reggada artists, who utilize instruments such as the qasba (a type of flute), ghaita (another type of oboe), and bendir (a frame drum). Reggada music is characterized by its fast tempo, encouraging movement and traditional dancing. Rhythmic movements harmonize with the rapid drumming of the drums and bendir, distinguishing Reggada from other art forms. Singing is often performed as a group.
This program includes three interfaces dedicated to Reggada tracks, works offline, and is easy to use.
