Balantak is an Austronesian language spoken by approximately 30,000 people who primarily live on the eastern end of the east peninsula of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Most Balantak people also speak Indonesian. Some Andio, Bugis, Gorontalo, and Indonesian Bajau living in the Balantak homeland also speak Balantak.
