About Mari Smruti
Some moments stay with you for years — Swamishri arriving at your home for padhramni, the few seconds of charansparsh after a sabha, a family gathering at the mandir. Somewhere in the Hari Prabodham archive, that moment was recorded. Mari Smruti is how you ask for it.
"Smruti" means memory. You tell us what you remember; our archive team finds the recording and sends it to you.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Submit a request. Enter the date, the time, the place and a short note about what you remember — who was with you, what was happening, anything that helps us find it. If you already have a photo from that day, attach it.
2. We search the archive. Your request is routed to the team for your Pradesh, who look through the footage from that event.
3. You get a notification. The moment your smruti is found, a notification arrives on your phone and the request is marked Resolved.
4. Watch, download, share. Play it straight inside the app, save it to your phone, and share it with the people who were there with you.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Track every request — Open, Resolved or Not Available, all in one place, with a request number you can copy and quote to the team.
• Watch inside the app — resolved smrutis play in a built-in player. No separate download needed just to see it.
• Download and keep — save your smruti to your phone once it's ready.
• Share with your family — pick exactly which family members can see and download each smruti. Change your mind later and revoke it.
• Friend and Family Circles — add the people you share with most, so they come up first every time.
• Share with karyakartas — optionally let the karyakartas of your Pradesh and Mandal access a smruti. Off by default; entirely your choice.
• Edit or delete a request — fix the details of any request that hasn't been processed yet.
• Notifications — know the moment your smruti is ready, plus announcements from the archive team.
• Three languages — English, हिन्दी and ગુજરાતી. Switch any time, even before you sign in.
• Light and dark theme — follow your phone's setting or choose your own.
WHO THIS APP IS FOR
Mari Smruti serves the devotee community of Hari Prabodham. It needs an account, and requests are fulfilled from the organisation's own archive of events, so it will not be useful without a connection to the sanstha. If you are already part of the community, ask your Pradesh karyakarta about getting access.
YOUR PRIVACY
A smruti is personal, and the app treats it that way. Nothing you receive is public. Nobody else sees it unless you choose to share it with them, name by name, and you can revoke that sharing at any time. Sharing with your Pradesh karyakartas is opt-in and off by default.
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time — Profile, then Delete account. Your name, email, phone number and photo are permanently removed and you are signed out everywhere.
