Calvary MinistriesCAPRO is an international, interdenominational Missions Agency
Calvary Ministries CAPRO is an international, interdenominational Missions Agency committed to make Jesus known among the neediest and forgotten peoples of our generation. Since 1975, CAPRO has been committed to going where there are no churches, and working with existing churches to impact the least reached and most vulnerable. Through our community transformation ministries, we go beyond preaching the message of faith. We work with poor unreached communities to meet their critical and identified felt needs.
Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) is not a church denomination but actively partners with all Bible-believing churches in the 36 countries where CAPRO operates. CAPRO has approximately 721 staff1 members from 26 nationalities and from over 30 church denominations. CAPRO works with the Body of Christ to mobilize, train and send missionaries to unengaged peoples. As one of the oldest and largest indigenous missionary agencies in Africa, CAPRO has served and continues to serve as a catalyst to missions movements and engagements across several countries of the world.
CAPRO is part of several global networks because she strongly advocates developing partnerships and collaboration to finish the Great Commission. CAPRO’s Mobilization, Media and Research teams work with other similar bodies to produce relevant resources needed to invoke church commitment to missions. CAPRO plants indigenous churches among unreached peoples in rural communities and (unengaged diaspora peoples) in cities. CAPRO does not plant denominational churches and no CAPRO-planted church bears CAPRO name or belongs to CAPRO. The following are ways CAPRO collaborates with the Body of Christ: 1. Long-term Missions Training. CAPRO trains qualified mission candidates in her Schools of Missions (SOM). CAPRO has SOM’s in English and French. 2. Short-term Missions Training. CAPRO runs several church-based trainings and three of her signature programs are the SOE (School of Evangelism), TOC (The Oasis Course training to reach Muslims) and DIMEP (the Discipleship & Missions training). 3. Short-term Missions Service. CAPRO offers platforms for people with a short term commitment to missions. For example, the Operation Joshua (OJ) program provides a platform for believers to visit mission fields as short term exposure, and the 1 2019 CAPRO staff data

Christian Volunteer Service (CVS) gives opportunity for professionals to use their skills to serve in a missions office or outpost. 4. Facilitate At Conferences. CAPRO is available to serve churches in their church leadership, youth, revival and missions trainings/ conferences. CAPRO does not charge for serving the Church. 5. Mission Adoption. CAPRO offers believers the opportunity to emotionally and financially adopt a missionary. This goes a long way to reduce unnecessary distractions for missionaries and their families. Calvary Ministries CAPRO is governed by a well-structured and established leadership system. Mr. Sam Kputu (Nigeria) currently serves as the International Director and Mr. Judah Bett (Kenya) serves as the International Council Chairman. All leadership positions in CAPRO are tenured. CAPRO strongly advocates and practices servant leadership. CAPRO Finances are audited every year by reputable auditors following international finance standards.
