About Abolo Bible
The Abolo language is one of several languages spoken on the ‘bird's head’ of the island of Alor in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Abolo is also known by the outside name of ‘Kabola’. Abolo has several dialects, including: Tang'ala, Kopidil, Meibui, Wolatang, and Tabolong. This translation of the Bible uses the Tang'ala dialect. Around 8,000 people speak Abolo.
