About Kinsmap

Kinsmap presents your family tree in new and exciting ways. Interactive ancestry and descendancy fan charts give new insight into your family history and maps reveal your relatives' migrations over time. Import your GEDCOM file from your preferred genealogy program and your family tree appears like you have hardly seen it before.

The free version includes all basic and premium features, but with the single limitation that charts for family trees with more than 250 persons is displayed with reduced brightness. For information about upgrade to the full version check

Really like this style of presentation. It's concise, neat and handy. You can see easily where gaps are in your research. The Gedstore idea is a useful touch, too. I look forward to further development.

Like it so far. I have it on my Chromebook and my phone. Do I have to pay twice to have it work on both? It's working on my Chromebook. Update: working on both now. Looks good.
