What Net Checker tests:

🔌 HTTP Connectivity — Tests major global services (Google, Facebook, TikTok, Amazon, Baidu, Cloudflare, Yandex, and more) over both plain HTTP and HTTPS. Know which services are reachable from your network.

🌐 TCP Connectivity — Verifies non-HTTP TCP services across continents: SMTP, WHOIS, SSH, IMAPS, DNS-over-TLS, XMPP, MQTT and legacy FTP — covering ports 22, 25, 43, 587, 853, 993, 1883, 5222, 6667.

📡 UDP Reachability — Protocol-aware UDP testing for DNS (Google, Cloudflare, Quad9, DNSPod, AliDNS, OpenDNS, Yandex), NTP time servers (global + regional pools), and STUN (NAT traversal detection).

🏓 Ping (ICMP) — Pings your local gateway and configured DNS servers — the fastest way to tell "router or internet?".

🛰 IPv6 check — ICMPv6 ping, an HTTPS fetch and AAAA resolution over IPv6 (a few regions). Skipped automatically on IPv4-only networks.

🔍 Advanced Detection — DNS resolution, remote port reachability, and local SOCKS proxy detection. Flags open ports and local proxies on your connection.

Scoring that makes sense:

D (40–54) — Marginal. Significant connectivity issues.
F (below 40) — Poor. Major network problems detected.

The score combines reachability (50%), bandwidth (30%), and latency (20%) into a single meaningful number. No marketing fluff — just honest network assessment.

Net Checker is tuned for real-world mobile and WiFi connections — not idealised lab conditions. The scoring formula uses square-root speed scaling so that everyday 5 Mbps mobile connections score fairly, while the latency component accurately reflects what users feel.
