About PLN Mobile

PLN Mobile is the field companion for surveying and geodetic teams that run their work on PLN System. It is a tool for organizations: your manager invites you, and you sign in with your PLN account.

THE DAY'S WORK, IN THE FIELD
• Tasks assigned to you, with order number, type, status, due date and location
• Task details, comments, history and files, without calling the office
• Status updates that the office sees immediately

QUICKTASK — ONE TAP FROM WHERE YOU STAND
• Find Nearby opens the closest task whose mapped area, line or point you are on
• FastPicture takes a photo and attaches it to the right task automatically
• FastDraft saves a draft image straight into the task files
• Map shows every mapped task place around you

GLOBAL CONTROL POINTS
• Search your organization's control point register by name or note
• Coordinates, notes and reference pictures on the point details
• Camera guide overlays bearing and distance on the live camera view within 1 km, and hands off to Maps for the drive
• Add new points from the field so the whole team gets them

TIME, EXPENSES AND DISTANCE
• Log hours, expenses and distance against a task in seconds
• Entries queue while you are out of coverage and sync when you are back online

TEAM COMMUNICATION
• Direct and group chats with attachments
• Push notifications for new messages

FOR MANAGERS
• Overview of open work, overdue tasks and unassigned field load
• Create tasks and assign work from the phone
• Team and contact directory with phone numbers and email addresses

PLN Mobile requires an existing PLN System account. Organizations register at plnsystem.com; individual accounts cannot be created in the app.
