The RAS broadcasting company is a public corporation in the state of South Tyrol. It was founded in 1975 with the mission of providing South Tyrol with radio and television programs from German and Ladin-speaking countries. To distribute the 14 television and 22 radio programs, the RAS currently operates around 1,000 transmitting and microwave radio devices at over 120 broadcasting locations.
