Predictive Thermometer companion app - extend wireless range + view all temps

Use this app to update firmware on your wireless Predictive Thermometer + Display. Firmware updates improve predictions, extend battery life, and add new hardware functions.

The wireless Predictive Thermometer was built to answer a simple but important question: when will my food be ready? Combustion’s Predictive Engine estimates exactly when that will be, using the data from 8 onboard sensors (the most of any cooking thermometer).

This companion app lets you use all the features and functions of the Predictive Thermometer.

You can cook using just the app and a Predictive Thermometer. But if you also have a Combustion Display, the app uses that as a signal repeater. So you can set your target temp and know exactly what’s going on with your food from up to 300ft (90m) away! Keep an eye on cooking temps from across the house or across the park. That signal boost comes in especially handy when the thermometer is inside something radio-resistant, like a heavy metal grill or smoker.

The Predictive Thermometer has an array of 8 sensors and compares temperatures to always locate the lowest internal temp. We call that TrueCore and it means you never measure the wrong spot! Even when the food you’re cooking is small (like a filet) or irregular (like a whole chicken), your food won’t ever end up undercooked or raw in the middle.

The Predictive Thermometer and app work with most cooking appliances including ovens, stovetops, grills, and barbecue smokers. Get more consistent results with all your favorite foods: steak, pork chops, brisket, pork shoulder, roast, turkey, whole chicken, ribs, fish, and even bread.
