Paid parking is easy to forget — and easy to overpay for. Parking Parrot is a smart reminder that nudges you to start (and later stop) paying, so you're less likely to pick up a fine or leave the meter running after you've gone.

How it works
Parking Parrot keeps an eye on your phone's motion and location in the background. When it looks like you've parked, it reminds you to pay. When it looks like you've driven off, it reminds you to stop your parking session — no need to open or tap anything.

Free to use

Good to know
Parking Parrot is a helper, not a guarantee. It relies on your phone's sensors, so it can't spot every stop or start, and it isn't instant — it usually alerts within a minute or two, after a quick check to avoid false alarms. Starting and stopping your parking payment is always your responsibility; the app only reminds you and can't pay for you. Please don't treat it as your only safeguard.

Parking Parrot works anywhere, so it doesn't know local zones, prices or paid hours. You set your paying hours, your free days and your no-reminder spots yourself.

Permissions
To notice parking and driving while it's closed, the app uses your location (including in the background) and activity recognition. Your location stays on your device and isn't shared with advertisers.
