About ICT-AAC LeARn to Cook

The LeARn to Cook application is developed within the Erasmus+ project called Innovative Solutions for Improving Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities (INNOSID). More information about the project can be found at: http://sociallab.fer.hr/innosid/.

This application is designed as a virtual cookbook with the functionalities to view, create and edit the interactive recipes and to play AR -based games. The recipes contain ingredients, tools and steps that include actions with detailed descriptions of the requirements for cooking the meal. The symbols used for the ingredients, tools and steps can be selected from the existing ones, device's gallery or can be photographed.

There are two AR- based games which the users can play if their device supports AR services. Both games include scanning the AR markers, which can be created and printed with the application. Within the Learn game the user can scan the AR marker and find out interesting facts about the scanned ingredient. Within the Find game, the user has to find the ingredient that matches the one displayed at the top of the screen. When the correct AR marker for the ingredient is scanned, the 3D model of the ingredient appears on the marker.

The application supports the languages English and Croatian.
