About Oma Ekhva
Oma Ekhva is an application that brings together the digital services of the South Karelia welfare area, which is available around the clock.
The service can be used by students, permanent residents, leisure residents and those traveling in the province of South Karelia. You can also use Oma Ekhva to do business on your behalf if the person whose affairs you are taking care of lives in South Karelia.
Through Oma Ekhva you can:
• send messages to social and healthcare professionals
• do business at the remote reception
• do business in the OmaKanta service
• book appointments for social and healthcare services
• monitor your current digital paths
• fill in and send forms
• receive inquiries, attachments and letters, e.g. sick leave certificates and invitation letters
In addition, the service enables transactions on behalf of another person, for example your child. Acting on behalf of persons over the age of 12 and other persons requires authorization.
