The application allows you to make the best use of the 196 km of cycling routes.

Five thematic itineraries that develop on 196 km of dirt roads connected to regional and international cycle networks. The routes provide an unprecedented but fascinating key to reading and exploring the territory, to discover the resources present (historical, architectural but also environmental and landscape) and to discover the economic realities of the rural territory (agricultural companies, hospitality operators).

THE ITINERARIES
Along the Great River
Itinerary 1 allows you to discover the Tagliamento, the last great alpine river in Europe which transports rocks in the form of pebbles, the "claps" in the Friulian language, which give life to the Grava. The itinerary from north to Spilimbergo leads south to Cordovado and on the journey you can discover the various aspects of the river and its relationship with the territory and the people who have inhabited it for centuries.

From arid territories to swamps
Itinerary 2 tends to avoid urban centers offering the discovery of naturalistic and agricultural areas. From the borders of Spilimbergo you reach Chions. From the gravels transported by the Tagliamento and Meduna rivers we move on to the Resurgence area with its great wealth of water and finally to the waterways that generate suggestive places full of greenery.

Between Tagliamento and Meduna
Itinerary 3 is the shortest and can be used as a connection between itineraries 1 and 2. It runs from the municipality of Spilimbergo to San Martino al Tagliamento. At the center of the itinerary are the canals, waterways artificially arranged starting from the Late Middle Ages on which the mills of the various villages stood and which were a point of development for the villages themselves.

Cities, woods and castles
Itinerary 4 develops in an urban context starting from Valvasone Arzene and ending in Sesto al Reghena. The historic centers are of great importance: the medieval one of Valvasone with its castle, the village of Versuta in Casarsa, San Vito al Tagliamento as a witness to the power of the Patriarchs of Friuli and finally Sesto al Reghena, famous for its fortified Abbey.

Wetland territories
Itinerary 5 develops horizontally between the municipalities of i Chions, Sesto al Reghena and Cordovado so as to intersect itineraries 1, 2 and 4. From the church of Saints Ermacora and Fortunato in Chions, a very important place of worship in past centuries , you arrive at Belvedere di Cordovado and from there to the historic center of the medieval village dominated by the castle area. All places now rich in crops but which were marshy before reclamation.
