The Helmert formulas are use to change the latitude and longitude of a position on one ellipsoid to the same position on some other ellipsoid.
The seven parameters that are used in the Helmert formulas are:
distance on the x-axis
-distance on the y-axis
-distance on the z-axis
-rotation around the x-axis
-rotation around the y-axis
-rotation around the z-axis
-scale
