UNIQA SafeLine is a unique and innovative service for motorists. Thanks to telematics, SafeLine helps to solve crisis situations immediately if necessary and can fairly calculate insurance premiums based on mileage:

◉ The crash sensor of the SafeLine telematics unit installed in the vehicle automatically reports the accident to the assistance center. The operator calls the driver to specify the required assistance. If contact fails to be established and the vehicle does not continue driving, the operator immediately sends a rescuer to the precisely located location. Time decides the life and health of the crew.
◉ If there is a fault with the vehicle or a flat tire while driving, it is possible to call for assistance via the emergency button or via this mobile application. The help of the assistance service can also be used, for example, in case of sudden nausea of ​​the driver.

The UNIQA SafeLine application can analyze the car driving style called "Driver behavior" for your needs (it does not affect your insurance policy) and basic statistical data on kilometers driven, speed, driving progress, etc. The data in the application can only be accessed After entering the password that you will receive by e-mail upon activation of the SafeLine unit installed in your vehicle.

Driver Behavior is a weekly rating from 0 to 100 and expresses the overall dynamics of the car's driving style where "0" represents a highly dynamic style (0-30 is "Racing Driver") and "100" represents a calm and deliberate style driving (80-100 is "Gentleman Driver").

At the same time, the calculation of "Driver behavior" takes into account the behavior of all other drivers of the Group with the UNIQA SafeLine device in such a way that:

◉ A driver with an overall rating of "0" is the most dynamic driver in the entire Group
◉ A driver with an Overall Rating of "50" represents a driver whose driving dynamics are the exact average of the entire Group
◉ A driver with an Overall Rating of "100" is the calmest and most prudent driver of the entire Group

Overall Rating is the weekly average value of "Driver Behavior" since the start of activation of the UNIQA SafeLine product.

The Parameters "Driver Behavior" are:

◉ Hard braking
◉ Sharp acceleration
◉ Fast passage through the bend
◉ Quick lane change

Each of these "Parameters" affects "Driver Behavior" and expresses the average weekly number of "Events" per 100 Km.

An Event is a situation in which the "Limit Values" for individual "Parameters" are exceeded.

The Limit value is dependent on time, direction and speed and is defined differently for each "Parameter". The algorithm for calculating and setting "Limit values" is the property of Octotelematics.
