YouID is a secure digital identity wallet that lets you safely store personal details and physical IDs in a digital and encrypted format so that you can use it to access online services securely without having to fill any form again.
What you can do with YouID
- Securely store your personal details, including Govt.IDs
- Generate a 2 - step verification token (2 FA) on your device as an added layer of security to your various online platforms.
- Get notified whenever your password has been breached or your login credentials are leaked by a third party.

- Access a directory of services that YouID supports and access your preferred service while having unprecedented full control over your personal details.

Your details are safe
Add details to your YouID by scanning a government-approved ID document. We accept Passports, Driving Licenses, and National ID cards from all African countries.
Any details you add to your YouID are encrypted into unreadable data that only you can unlock. The private encryption key to your data is stored safely on your phone – only you can activate this key and access your details using your Password, PIN, or Biometrics.

We encourage businesses to only ask for the details they need, so when you choose to share your details with a business using YouID, you can feel safe sharing fewer data.
