About Wishdea: Gift Wishlists

Wishdea is a wishlist that spares everyone the awkwardness. You write down what you actually want. The people who love you see the list, reserve a gift, and know for certain nobody else is buying the same thing.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Build your wishlist - name, price or price range, a link to the shop, and a description where you spell out the colour, size or exact model.
• Add variants to a single wish, like "black" and "size M", so nobody has to guess.
• Set a priority: I really want this, would be nice, maybe someday. Your people see what matters most at a glance.
• Reorder wishes by dragging a card.

SHARING

• Send the link to whoever you like - text message, chat app, however you prefer.
• A public list is visible to anyone holding the link.
• A private list needs a passcode that you pass along with the link. Useful for weddings and birthdays, when the list is not meant to travel the internet.

SPOILER-FREE RESERVATIONS

• A guest reserves a gift with one tap, and does not need an account to do it.
• The list owner never sees reservations - the surprise stays a surprise.
• Other guests do see what is taken, so nobody buys the same gift twice.
• A reservation can be cancelled at any time.

FOLLOWING THE PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT

• Find friends by email address or name and follow their lists.
• Every list you follow sits in one place - birthdays, holidays, weddings.
• Invite someone who has no account yet. Once they sign up, their list shows up for you automatically.
• The owner of a private list decides who gets in.

GOOD FOR

Birthdays, name days, Christmas, Secret Santa, weddings, first communions, baby showers, housewarmings - anywhere someone asks "what should I get you?" and you have no idea what to say.
